I hope all the Mothers out there had a great Mother’s Day. We started ours at a park, but had to move it to my sister’s house due to the wind and chilly temperatures. I was planning on taking more pics at the park, but since we weren’t there very long I didn’t get to. But I did have my hubby take a few pics of me and my boys. Both wanted to play and not pose for pics, so these are the best I could get. I’m also including one from today. Brax loves to take a ride in the trailer, and Ian loves to give him rides, so it works out great. And don’t worry, I make him go in slow speed, and I’m always right there just in case.

Meet Jodie and her brother and sister Jake and Macie. They contacted me to take their portrait as a present for their moms b-day. This will be a great gift for many many years to come. We met up at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day and the weather was great. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, I know you’ve dying to see them.

I can’t believe my baby boy is already one. This past year has flown by way too fast. It also feels just like the other day I was laying in the operating room waiting for my c-section feeling very excited and scared all at the same time. Scared how my life would change with 2 kids and 2 boys no less and excited to see him and hold him for the first time. Super excited when I found out he had red hair and alittle shocked he was so big.  I’ve loved watching him change and grow his first year and see just how different he is from his brother. Watching him learn to crawl and then walk all too fast and much sooner than his brother did. Now he just needs to talk. He says a few words, mama, dada and bye bye, but that’s about it. I can’t wait to see what he learns next. I love my little brax and can’t imagine my life without him.

We celebrated with a little photoshoot at the train station. Started out with the birthday boy then got a few of big brother and ended with a family shot.

Here’s just a few more images of my boys at the Grapvine Train Depot. They had a blast there, lots to explore. And a great place for Holiday Family Pictures. Book those mini sessions now!

So what do you do when it’s been raining on and off for weeks……play in the mud. At least that’s all my almost 3yr old son wanted to do. So we made a deal, he gets to play in the mud and I get to take pictures. He definitely doesn’t like my camera much anymore. He’s always telling me “Mom, I don’t want pictures right now, I’m busy.” And I don’t get much eye contact, but I take what I can get and love them anyways.

I just wanted to share my newest favorite image of my boys. I’m thinking of getting this printed huge for my house, maybe on canvas. I just love it!

Just a few fun pics of my boys enjoying their summer.
