Meet Eddie the III He was the fuzziest newborn I have ever seen. So cute! He did great and posed like a champ. I got to try out a new prop again, the red wagon. He kept scooting himself down and peed in it 3 times, but then he gave me a little grin and it was all worth it. I can’t wait to see how big he is in it at 6mo. I have lots of favs, it was hard to narrow it down.

It’s finally starting to feel alittle like fall. This year I’m doing mini sessions for all of Oct. and Nov. These sessions are great for just about anything and a great way to get a few holiday pictures for cards or gifts. $150 includes a 45min. session and 10-12 images on CD. They can be booked anytime in Oct. and Nov. and can be at my studio or on-location. And the awesome red pedal car will be available for sessions in Oct. and maybe Nov. too. I’m borrowing it from my sister’s father in law. My boys loved it and it looks great in photos. Email me at melissa@melissadphotos.com for more info and to book.

Meet Lynn and Matt. A super cute couple that came to my studio to document Lynn’s cute baby bump. We took a few outside then headed inside to finish up. They brought a few props, a starfish, her nickname before they new it was a girl and blocks. Matt had alot of fun with the blocks and even held his own little photoshoot while waiting for us to finish up. We took a bunch of great images and had alot of fun. I can’t wait to meet Madeline soon.

Meet the sweetest little girls, Charlotte Jane and Emily Kate. They are almost 2 weeks old here and did fantastic. With thier cute bloomers and flower headbands I thought it gave their images a vintage feel. Which I love. They slept almost the whole time and let me pose away. I used some of my new props again. I love how they looked in the picnic basket together. I can’t wait to see them again soon.

Meet the adorable Pippa. Her parents were dissapointed they missed the newborn stage since she was already 4 weeks old. I told them to come during her nap time and we would try for the newborn like poses. It worked great. She was awake for just a few photos, then slept peacefully the rest of the session. I couldn’t get over how cute she is. I love her hair. Her mom brought the cutest owls from her room and I love how they looked with her in the nest. I also got to use my new picnic basket prop with her quilt on top. I can’t wait to see her again in a few months.

Sweet Amanda is back for her bridal session. We met at the Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens and Amanda was glowing. Her dress is gorgeous and shoes devine. She did so well and knew just what to do and how to pose. The weather wasn’t too bad. It was right before it cooled off. But we stayed in the shade and made it work. I edited a few of these alittle differently than my normal and I really like the way they turned out. Warm and rich colors. I can’t wait for their wedding in Oct.
