So, I really wanted to try out a Boudoir session and luckily my little sister modeled for me. This was a first for both of us and I think they came out pretty cool. If I get the chance to do any more I need to work on posing ideas. But we still had fun figuring out what worked and what didn’t. But she’s so pretty there were no “bad” ones.

It’s spring. Or atleast the little amount of spring we actually get here in Texas. So I’ve decided to offer mini sessions again. But this time they will last alittle longer and have a few more images included. $150 includes a 45min session with 12 images on CD. Great for a variety of sessions, babies, families, toddlers, maternity, ect. Sessions can be in my studio or on-location. Book anytime in May. Email for more info. melissa@melissadphotos.com

Meet Landen and Garren. Two cute brothers who came to my studio to document turning 2yrs and 3 months old. They were such sweet and happy boys and did really well. I ended up with alot of favorites. And we ended the session just in time for Garren to take a nap. Hopefully I’ll get to see you guys again soon.

Meet Isabella and her 3 sweet sisters. Her mom only wanted one shot with all her girls and I actually got a few good one. Which was really a feat considering they are 2 weeks, 1yr, 2yrs and 3yrs old. 4 girls under the age of 3, wow mom is definately supermom. They all did great and we were done fairly quickly.  I hope to see you sweet girls again soon.

Miss Sophia is back for her 6mo photoshoot. We met at the botanic gardens in ft. worth. We had fun and she was good up until the last 10 min. or so. She was just getting over being sick and not feeling 100% yet. But we mananged to get a few smiles out of her. The weather and light were great and it was a short but sweet session. I can’t wait to see her again in 6 months.

Meet Trinty and Riley and big sis Sienna. These girls were alittle difficult in the begining, but finally gave into sleep. They really liked being wrapped up. And I’m glad we kept at it and got some great images. They were just so cute! I hope to see them again when they are sitting up.

Meet Tiffany, my cousin, who took me up on my offer to shoot her senior photos. It’s the first senior pictures I’ve had the pleasure of doing. Hopefully it won’t be my last. We had a blast. We met at Eagle Mountain Park and started shooting. She did a few different outfits including her pretty prom dress. This was also my first real session at this location. I’ve only been there with my boys. Tiffany did great and I hope she likes these photos as much as I do. Congrats and I hope you enjoy collage life.

Meet Jackson and his gorgeous parents. Jackson’s dad is a firefighter and brought his gear along again to incorporate it into his son’s newborn photos. He’s the first firefighter I’ve done photos with and I hope he’s not the last. It was alot of fun and Jackson did great. I can’t wait to see him again soon.

When driving around a few days ago I spotted a decent size patch of bluebonnets down the street from my house. So this morning when it was overcast I decided on a whim to load the boys up and attempt a photoshoot of them on my own. It went ok, not great, but I got a few cute shots I like out if it. I think this is the first shoot I’ve done in the bluebonnets. But I have a feeling it won’t be my last.

Sweet McKenzie met me at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens to celebrate her First Birthday. After a quick breakfast she was ready to go and full of smiles. The gardens were beautiful with lots of flowers in bloom. And the weather was great and not too hot. She showed off a few different outfits and a cute tutu with some easter eggs. It was a great session. Enjoy the sneak peek.
