Our trip to the pumpkin patch was a blast. They have a really cool old blue truck that’s new. My boys loved it. We’ve been going to this pumpkin patch since I was pregnant with Ian. I look forward to it every year. Happy Halloween!

Here you will see images of my wonderful clients and a bit of personal stuff too! I love photography, sweets and Dr. Pepper. My specialities are Maternity and Newborn portraits, but I love babies, families and weddings too. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you come back soon.

This very beautiful family met me at the Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens for some great fall family portraits. We had alot of fun. The weather was wonderful. Their little girl was so much fun. She knew how to work the camera and gave me great poses. We did alittle of both formal and fun pictures. I loved all the clothes. It was a great session. I can’t wait to show you the rest.

Meet Brooke and her cute bump. She and her hubby and her mom and dad came to my studio for some maternity pictures. We had alot of fun. And Brooke really worked the camera. It was great. I can’t wait to meet their little guy soon. I have a feeling that session is gonna be alot of fun too.

Meet sweet libby. She’s 6 weeks and not quite a newborn anymore. Although her mom hoped she would sleep, she was just too interested in what was going on. She was so interested in everything around her that it was hard for me to get eye contact.
But she still did great and I got some wonderful photos. This was a gifted session and what a great gift a photography session is. She will always have these photos to look back on to remember just how sweet libby was at this age. I can’t wait to show you the rest.

Abbie’s one and graduating from her baby plan. It’s always alittle sad when they reach the end, but I know I’ll see her again. We celebrated with a session at the Grapvine Train Depot. Abbie’s on the move and did great for her photoshoot. We got alot of variety, but I love the cupcake and chair pics best. This was her third cupcake and this time she knew what to do. She started with her finger, so dainty, then really tore into it. We ended the session with my new white chair and a pink balloon. Enjoy your sneak peek, I can’t wait to show you the rest.

4 years ago today, my life was changed forever. My beautiful baby boy was born. Almost 12 hours of induced labor and I ended up with a c-section. I cried happy tears as soon as I heard his first cry. Unfortunatly my husband saw alittle too much of the surgery and knew something I didn’t yet and had to leave the room. As soon as I was wheeled back to my room, they told me something was wrong with his feet. They unwrapped him and showed me his little crooked feet and told me he had clubfeet. We didn’t know anything about it until that moment. We tried not to let it overshadow his birth, and even thought about not having more kids for fear they would have it too. But once we got started with his treatment and noticed he didn’t mind the casts, brace and was still a very happy baby. We decided we would eventually try for one more. And if he did have clubfeet, we would know how to treat it and it wouldnt be a big deal. Luckily Brax’s feet are fine. Ian hit every milestone mostly on time, the brace wasn’t slowing him down. He did walk alittle late, but honestly I’m not sure if his clubfeet had anything to do with it. He was released from his brace alittle early a few months ago. I think we will always worry about his feet. Even though for awhile now no one would ever even know anything was wrong with his feet. He’s very smart, loving and a great kid all around. I can’t imagine my life without him and love him so very much.

Sophia decided she wasn’t ready to enter the world until 11 days past her due date. But I know everyone knows she was worth the wait. Here she is at 6 days old. She started and ended the session awake, but I did get some great sweet sleeping images inbetween. I can’t wait to watch her grow.

Here’s the rest from Britany and Colten’s wedding. It’s a long post, so get comfy and enjoy all the beautiful pictures. The wedding and reception took place at the Dallas Athletic Club. It was wonderful weather for the outside ceremony. And beautiful light for the portraits as the sun went down. And then it was party time. Great food, cake and dancing. Check out the grooms cake. Isnt it awesome! The bride’s cake was pretty too. They ended the night with a sparklers send off. Perfect ending to a perfect day. I hope your having lots of fun on your honeymoon. I can’t wait to show you the rest.

This sweet baby girl decided she was ready to enter the world almost a month early. She was still pretty tiny at 2 weeks old. Once we got her to sleep, she did great. I got to use my new prop, the doll carriage, and it looks pretty cool. I can’t wait to experiment with it more and maybe use it outside. Enjoy your sneak peek, I can’t wait to show you the rest.

Britany and Colten said “I do” this past Sat. It was a fabulous wedding and a wonderful day. I have many, many favorites to share, but I’ll just start with this one. Come back for the rest. You don’t want to miss them.
