Just a few snaps of Ian being silly and Brax only letting me get a shot of the back of his head. He’s not really liking the camera these days. But now that the weather is cooler and both boys b-days are coming up, I do have an awesome vintage carnival themed photoshoot in the works. It will be alot of fun and hopefully I’ll get some great shots of them both.

Sweet Ella is back for her One year portraits. We had planned on an outside session with the Ponies behind my house, but the weather had a different idea. Lots and lots of rain. So we did a studio session instead and we’ll do the outside part alittle later. She wasn’t very smiley, but her serious face is oh so cute! The last session we did as a newborn, she was wrapped in a peace symbol scarf and actually did the peace sign with her hand, and then when we got started, she did it again. Too funny! Unfortunatly she did not like her first cupcake. I got 2 shots and she was done. My kids didn’t like their first cakes either, so I understood. I can’t wait for her next session, I just know it will be awesome!

I’m running out of blog titles for maternity and newborn sessions. But I love doing them both!! Marie and her hubby came to get maternity pictures in my studio. We kept it pretty simple and just focused on the belly. She’s the 4th Mommy in a row expecting a girl and I can’t wait to meet them all.

Just a few snaps of my boys outside riding Ian’s bike. Daddy helping. And Brax “powing” with a laser gun. His face is so funny.

This mama to be wanted to get a few maternity images before her sweet little girl arrives. I can’t wait to meet and photograph her next month. I hope she gets her mama’s pretty red hair. This will be the 3rd newborn girl in a row, breaking my boy streak. And I couldn’t be happier. Her hubby was alittle hesitant to get in the photos, but he did and I’m sure in the end he’ll be glad. Just wait for the newborn session. There’s nothing better than seeing a daddy and his little girl, so small in his arms.

In celebration of the wonderful cooler weather, I’ve decided to offer a special. Any session booked thru the end of Sept. will be a free session. No session fee! Woohoo! The session must take place in Sept. and be at an outside location. There are many great locations to use, and I’m always up for trying new ones. Don’t hesitate, book now!! Christmas is coming and photos make great presents. Email me  melissa@melissadphotos.com or call 817-915-3689 I’ll leave you with a not so great image of my boys enjoying the cooler weather today. These days I’m very lucky to get them both sitting still next to each other. Much less both looking and smiling. But since there’re mine, I love it anyways.
