This last week I actually had time to take a few pics of my boys. I focused on close ups this time. Braxton just being cute and showing off his beautiful blue eyes and Ian’s cheesy smile and silly face again. Were headed to the lake this coming weekend for the 4th, I should have a bunch of pics to share when we get back.

Meet Henry at about 2 weeks old. He was wonderful when he was asleep. And when he was awake, he was so funny and kept us all entertained with his silly faces and arm movements. His parents said he’s always making faces at home and I’m glad I got to see some too. They were pretty funny. I got quite a few outtakes and even caught one of the many accidents in one shot. It’s not a real newborn session unless you get peed or pooped on…. lol. Despite everything we got some really great shots and lots of laughs too.

And everything nice. That’s what little girls are made of. I finally got a baby girl in my studio. Meet Aubrey, so cute and sweet at 2 months old. She was awesome and did so well for being 2 months old. That age can be alittle difficult, not really a newborn anymore and not old enough to sit on their own. But boy could she hold her head up. We only got one smile out of her, but her serious look is really cute too. I can’t wait to see her again when she’s sitting.

Meet my best friend Emily, her hubby JD and their twin boys Aidan and Riley. I had this idea for a session I wanted to try out and she gladly offered up her family to try it on. It didn’t come out excatly like I had pictured it in my head, but still great none the less. I hope to get more families to practice on and perfect my idea. I think I need a few more props and a different location. Anyways, here’s the ones that turned out and I love them all. Emily, I hope you love them too!

Well, I missed monday again. I’m just too busy lately to keep up with mine on monday every monday. I think I’m gonna just do 1 or 2 mondays a month, for the summer atleast. Ok, I found this motorcycle on the curb around the corner from my house and we put a battery in it and it works. Woo hoo free entertainment. So far Brax loves it. And luckily Ian realizes he’s too big for it so no fighting over it. So far atleast. And Ian’s been wanting to make silly faces when I take his pic, which is cute and always gets a natural expression afterwards since he thinks its so funny.

Lisset and her hubby came to my studio for a maternity session. She brought the best clothes! I really loved the colorful dress. And the teddy bear is her hubby’s that he’s passing down to his son. So sweet! We had fun and were done pretty quickly. Great session all around. I can’t wait to meet their son.

Miss Abbie is back for her 8 month session as part of her first year plan. We braved the heat and met at the botanic gardens. She did wonderful. Such a happy baby and easy to please. I got to try out my doll crib and loved the results. And who doesn’t love a baby in a basket. We had fun despite the heat. I can’t wait for her 1 year session.

This week’s pictures were taken last min. Like today…..lol. I was too busy last week with my hubby out of town to take any pictures of the boys. So today during braxton’s nap Ian wanted to play in the water sprinkler. It was plenty hot enough and he just loves it. I tried to get him to look at me and he said “no mommy I’m busy, I’m working”. So cute! And when brax woke up alittle later and it was alittle cooler, we went back outside and I snapped a few of him. I love the looks he gave me. He’s just too cute too!!

Well, with my crazy holiday weekend and my husband going out of town I didn’t get to make my mine on monday post on monday. But I’m just a day late on tuesday so hopefully you’ll forgive me. I took these pictures last week one evening when the hubby was gone and I was entertaining the kids and myself by taking some pictures. Ian loves to ride his bike lately and he’s getting pretty good at pedaling. He also insisted I buy him that green ninja motorcycle that he’s clearly too big for but it’s just the right size for his brother when he actually lets him ride it.
