Here’s my first bridal session since getting back into weddings. Brit along with her mom and mom in law to be, met me at the dallas arboretum for her bridal session. We had to reschedule her session a few times due to rain. So even though it was hot, we were glad to see the sun shining. And we had a blast running around the gardens finding as much shade as possible to shoot under. Thanks both moms for all the help and being my assistants. And thanks Brit for looking awesome and working it even though it was very hot! The pictures turned out fantastic which made it all worth it. Can’t wait to shoot your wedding in Oct.

Mackenzie did so good for the first half of his session. Unfortunatly he has acid reflux and didn’t do so well after he ate. Since my second son had it, I knew all about it and understood completely. We still got some amazing shots! And no accidents again, woohoo. Hopefully when I see him again his medicine will be working and he’ll be a happy baby!

This week mine on monday is just a few snap shots of my boys playing in the kiddie pool. We’ve had this pool since Ian was about 6mo and they both love to play in it and cool off. As you can see Ian takes up most of the pool now, but he still loves it.

Miss Maya is back for her 6 month portraits and she has the bluest eyes I’ve seen in a while. They go great with her red hair. I can’t wait for it to get alittle longer and compare it to my own little red head. We took a few family shots in the studio and then ended with some of just Maya. The one with the tutu is my absolute favorite! I just love it! I can’t wait to see her for her 1 year session. I’m sure she’ll be running by then.

I got a few new props and was itching to try them out. Jacob arrived just in time. His momma really loves props in newborn images, so it worked out perfect. He was really good and we didn’t have any accidents. He slept most of the time and didn’t mind too much being moved from set-up to set-up. I just love his cubby cheeks in the one of him propped up on his arms. Enjoy your sneak peek, I can’t wait to show you the rest.

Time for mine on monday again. Ian got a new toy, Zurg from Toy Story, and has been playing with him and Buzz Lightyear alot. He has a big imagination. It’s fun to watch him play and hear the things he comes up with. He’s so funny. Brax has decided he will not give me eye contact if I have the camera out. I’m running out of tricks to get him to look at me. But even without eye contact, he’s still soooo cute!! I also managed to get one of them together, but they still wouldn’t look at me. Oh well, I love it anyways.

I hope all the Mothers out there had a great Mother’s Day. We started ours at a park, but had to move it to my sister’s house due to the wind and chilly temperatures. I was planning on taking more pics at the park, but since we weren’t there very long I didn’t get to. But I did have my hubby take a few pics of me and my boys. Both wanted to play and not pose for pics, so these are the best I could get. I’m also including one from today. Brax loves to take a ride in the trailer, and Ian loves to give him rides, so it works out great. And don’t worry, I make him go in slow speed, and I’m always right there just in case.

Something new for the blog. I’ll be trying to post pics of my boys every monday. It shouldn’t be hard……I take a ton of pics of them. Here’s some misc pictures of them playing in our backyard. A daily event unless it’s raining. Just a peek into my life as a mommy of two boys being boys.
