Meet Jodie and her brother and sister Jake and Macie. They contacted me to take their portrait as a present for their moms b-day. This will be a great gift for many many years to come. We met up at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day and the weather was great. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, I know you’ve dying to see them.
My nephew Miles is turning One. We celebrated with a studio photoshoot and a cake smash. He was very serious about eating his cake. He meant business. But we did manage to get a few smiles. And we also got him standing on his own. He’ll be walking in no time.

I just love capturing newborn smiles. And this little guy sure gave me a big one. Just one for now. I hope it brightens your day as much as it did mine. More of this little cutie coming soon.
I’m really starting to like the look of patterned backgrounds. And I do plan on getting some real ones for the studio. But until then, I was playing around in photoshop adding in a faux background and really liked the results. I’ve also been experimenting with adding texture and blur as well. Here are a few examples.
